“A Dance with Water, Paper and Paint”
Whatever I paint, there is always a trigger, it might be a feeling, a moment in time, an experience, or something that I must capture on paper to share with others. Inspiration comes from my travels, the seasons, and my love of nature and all that surrounds me.
I am a self-taught artist and have exhibited and sold throughout the country with examples of my work hanging internationally. I am member of the Society of Women Artist’s exhibiting at their annual exhibition and have received ‘The Princess Michael of Kent Award’ for my body of work in 2021. I belong to The Wildlife Art Society International, getting a Gold Citation, and also exhibited at the Royal Institute of Watercolours, and the Laing Exhibition. Finally, I was awarded Best Watercolour and Best in Show at the ‘Paint a Wildlife Subject’ Competition.
