Sylvia Andrews

Art is more than a hobby for me as it has been my career too. I went to art college after leaving school and then worked locally in design studios, printers and had my own business for 12 years once I was married.

When the family came along I put my work on hold until I became a Teaching Assistant at a local school where I continue to work, predominantly on display work and helping in art lessons. I became a member of The West Wycombe Art Group in 2004 and working with enthusiastic and skilled artists improved my art enormously. I have always lived in The Chilterns on the family farm and the local countryside, flora and fauna and our farm animals have all influenced my art.
