The paintings are an attempt to capture the essence or atmosphere of a land or seascape rather than an accurate view of an image or place.

The recognition of happy accidents during the making and a dialogue with the materials and surface create patterns and textures. Colour is very important. Several paintings have been voted ‘people’s choice’ in the last few years at Bucks Art Society exhibitions and Best in Show at a recent Aylesbury Museum exhibition of fine art. MA BA Hons.
