Owen Earwicker

Owen took up painting in lockdown, and joined the West Wycombe Art Group in 2023.

While still learning from the group, Owen has explored a variety of subjects and mediums. He enjoys painting nature and wildlife, primarily in acrylics, watercolour and gouache. In observational studies and portraiture, he uses charcoal to develop chiaroscuro effects. Owen previously appreciated art and artists just as a viewer, but now enjoys the freedom and creativity of being an amateur artist creating his own pieces.
